The tornado knocked down and snapped off trees in rural areas
of Newton and Searcy counties near the Buffalo National River.
The tree damage was observed within the gene rush wildlife
management area and along Newton County roads 4267 and
4269... and on poke Berry Road in Searcy County. Newton County
Road 4267 was still blocked by fallen trees on the afternoon
of September 20th. No structural damage was observed.

This is the tenth tornado confirmed in the State of Arkansas
in 2014.

County roads covered in fallen leaves indicated that there had
been a significant hailstorm in areas around
Yardelle... hasty... Carver... Mt. Hersey... and Woolum.

Ef scale: the Enhanced Fujita scale classifies tornadoes into
the following categories.

EF1... weak... ... 86 to 110 mph
