... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 800 PM EDT
for Sussex... south central New Castle... Kent... Talbot... Queen
Anne's... Caroline and central Kent counties...

At 740 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles north of Bowers to Andrewsville to near St.
Michaels, moving east at 25 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
         trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Easton, Georgetown, Centerville, Talbot, Smyrna, Milford,
Seaford, Denton, Centreville, Laurel, Harrington, Romancoke, Camden,
Clayton, Lewes, Federalsburg, Milton, Bridgeville and Greensboro.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds... frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember... if you can hear thunder... you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Delaware, northeast Maryland, and New Jersey,
including the following areas, in Delaware, Delaware beaches,
inland Sussex, Kent, and New Castle. In northeast Maryland,
Caroline, Cecil, Kent MD, Queen Annes, and Talbot. In New
Jersey, Atlantic, Atlantic coastal Cape May, Camden, Cape May,
coastal Atlantic, coastal ocean, Cumberland, eastern Monmouth,
Gloucester, northwestern Burlington, ocean, Salem,
southeastern Burlington, and western Monmouth.

* Until midnight EDT tonight.

* Showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east across the
area this evening, producing areas of torrential rainfall with
rainfall rates greater than 2 inches per hour.

* Torrential rain falling in a short period of time can result in
flash flooding of roads and result in rapidly rising water
levels along streams and creeks.

thunderstorms moving into the advisory area. Rainfall amounts of
around an inch may fall in a short period of time. This will cause
minor flooding of roadways and areas of poor drainage.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Dover, Easton, Georgetown, Talbot, Milford, Seaford, Denton,
Millsboro, Laurel, Harrington, Camden, Lewes, Federalsburg, Milton,
