... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of east central Kansas... including the following
areas... Anderson... Coffey... Douglas... Franklin... Lyon and
Osage.

* Through Wednesday evening

* rainfall will be on the increase again tonight... with periods
of locally heavy rainfall possible Tuesday night into late
Wednesday afternoon.

* Heavy rainfall in a short period of time can cause flash
flooding of low lying areas as well as streams and creeks.
Additionally... flooding along larger rivers may develop as well
through Wednesday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            A tornado touched down 2 miles west of Eudora... tracking
            east to produce sporadic damage to roofs and trees
            through Eudora. It continued east of the town along
            Kansas Hwy 10 before lifting 3 miles SW of De Soto in
            Johnson County at 523 PM. The Max estimated wind speed
            was 100-107 mph with a Max width of 250 yards and a path
            length of 6.07 miles.
