* At 5:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 104.1 feet.
* Minor flood stage is 106.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
continue to rise to near 107.0 feet by Wednesday early afternoon.
The river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening.
* The river is forecast to crest at 107.0 on Wednesday early
afternoon during this 7-day period.
* The river is forecast to crest between **** and **** feet
early/later/next/this week.
* Impact statement(s) - at 108.0 feet, moderate flood stage and
overland sheet flooding of local agricultural land.

(national weather service) yesterday. This breaks the old record of
2.03 set in 1966.

... NWS damage survey for 07/21/14 tornado event in Grand
Forks County ND...

This intermittent tornado formed along the leading edge of
a larger scale Bow-echo squall line. This tornado was likely
wrapped in heavy rain and more widespread damaing downburst
winds along much of its path. One or more additional brief
tornadoes may have formed along adjacent storm segments.

A tornado tracked intermittently for about 8 miles to about
2 SSE of Arvilla by 841 PM CDT. This tornado snarled trees
in shelter belts and broke down numerous large tree
branches... limbs and whole tree trunks along its path.
A few rural residences and farm buildings had shingles torn
off... quonset doors were torn off... and at least one small
farm outbuilding was collapsed. Peak winds estimated to 90
mph. Maximum width to 300 yards.

tornadoes into the following categories.
