The Flood Warning continues for
the Black Cypress Bayou at Jefferson.
* From late Tuesday night until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Sunday the stage was 12.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
continue to rise to near 13.5 feet by Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... lowland flooding will affect mainly Timber
resources.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sulphur river near Naples.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 26.5 feet by
early Thursday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... minor lowland flooding and flooded boat
ramps.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            An EF1 tornado touched down 8 miles northwest of
            Linden. Damage consisted of numerous trees uprooted and
            snapped. Several trees took down powerlines in the area
            as well. Estimated peak wind speeds were between 95 and
            105 mph. Path length was 2 miles long with a path width
            of 700 yards wide.

            Linden. Damage consisted of numerous trees uprooted and
            snapped. Several trees took down powerlines in the area
            as well. Estimated peak wind speeds were between 95 and

Survey summary: an EF1 tornado touched down 8.5 miles WSW of
Gilmer. Damage consisted numerous trees uprooted and snapped. One
tree fell on a house... but damage to the home was minor to
moderate. Damage in The Union hill area was also surveyed... but
damage was determined to be associated with straight line wind
damage. The Union hill High School had roof damage... and several
homes had damage mainly due to fallen trees on the home.
